Mont Orgueil Castle, or Gorey Castle as it was first named, has existed beside the beautiful fishing port of Gorey for more than 800 years. As you go inside the castle, be ready to take a breathtaking view of the French coast, and discover the centuries-old network of staircases and a room to explore hidden treasure. Explore the castle through specially commissioned artwork, mount on the turrets to see the medieval ‘wheel of urine’, and spend your time studying the ‘white craft’ exhibit. Mont Orguiel Castle is a gorgeous tourist spot to stand shoulder to shoulder with wooden-made soldiers who ‘guard’ the castle.
