Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic’s easternmost point, is where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. It’s known for its 32-kilometer stretch of sandy beach and crystal-clear water. Punta Cana is a haven of leisure with a wide range of attractions. Days might start on the picture-perfect Macao Beach and end in a subterranean nightlife here. When you’re not soaking up the sun or dancing the night away, Punta Cana’s spectacular all-inclusive resorts, from the electrifying Hard Rock Punta Cana to the serene Le Sivory Punta Cana, give all-day enjoyment. Try one of the region’s zip-line courses, take a trip to Isla Saona, learn about Dominican history at Altos de Chavon, or explore the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park’s stunning lagoons.

Juanillo Beach
Beautiful beach with a relaxing stretch of hotels and resorts, Juanillio Beach is one of those beaches comprising Punta Cana and also one of the few that has public access. We had to go through the Cap Cana resort to get there. I went on a cruise jaunt and it was worth the price! The beach was in-depth and long with soft golden sand. The water was lukewarm! Instead of Sunshade, there was a row of cover sectioned off for 2-4 lounge chairs in every part letting no sun rays get through for the entire afternoon. I was so happy to find this spot, this beach was the best amongst all. They offered us lovely food and drinks. We were amazed by their service, secure area, and the proper scenery of the Caribbean that you want for pictures.
Dolphin Island Park
Dolphin Island Park is dedicated to the study of ocean life and creating moments of happiness for their tourists through a natural, amiable and secure interaction with dolphins, sea lions, sharks, and stingrays. I started from the hotel where I booked the expedition to Dolphin island. Their privileged location allowed me to go for a unique kind of swimming in which I could interact with the animals in their natural habitat. Interactions with the dolphins were a very exciting moment for me. The trainers provided me with so many fish throughout our stay to keep their focus and to get them to do tons of cool tricks. It was a lifetime experience.
Hoyo Azul
Hoyo Azul lagoon (the Blue Hole) is an amazing natural pool in Punta Cana with crystal-clear blue water, located off the base of a 75 m cliff. I wanted to leave my resort for a day and am glad I did! After passing an exciting trail where I was able to notice some of the most unique flora and fauna in the Caribbean, I reached this fabulous lagoon. This is an interesting place to see. There are beehives in the area, but don’t need to worry they won’t be a problem. The beauty of the hidden caves and the opportunity to jump in them was mind-blowing! I got the chance of swimming in the underground cave pool and zip lines throughout the facility. It was a wonderful, relaxing experience, and if you are looking for an intimate place, I would highly recommend this place.
