No other country in the world promotes its culture and religion as much as Cuba. There is a festival for every type of event, whether religious, tribal, musical, or gastronomic. Depending on the time of year you visit Cuba, you may enjoy the sun, beaches, music, and dancing at one of the country’s festivals.

Festival de la Trova Longina
This is a music event that takes place in Santa Clara from January 8 to 12. It takes its name from a well-known trova song written by famed Cuban artist Manuel Corona in 1918. Corona was born in the Villa Clara Province, the capital of which is Santa Clara. A trek from Santa Clara to Caibarién to celebrate the composer’s birthplace is one of the festival’s festivities. Trova is a type of music that was formerly quite popular in Cuba, and there are many well-known Cuban songs created in this style that are still well-loved and remembered today. Corona had a difficult childhood and fell on bad things despite having a brilliant career as a musician. A man who was the pimp of his prostitute girlfriend attacked him with a knife. He suffered damage to his hand as a result of this, and he was never able to play the guitar again. His main source of money after that was royalties from his works, and he spent the latter years of his life in poverty.
Havana International Book Fair
This is a highly popular event that draws people from all over the world, both from Cuba and from other nations. In February, primarily in Spanish-speaking nations, this celebration takes place. Despite its name, the Havana Book Fair travels to numerous different places around Cuba. The fair is held in Havana at the Cabana stronghold, which is situated on a hill on the other side of the bay from Old Havana. Book enthusiasts, publishers, writers, and celebrities attend the event. Aside from book sales, the event will feature talks by some of the writers, as well as theatre and dance acts and film screenings.
