On our one-week Royal Caribbean cruise, this was one of our planned activities. We also spent time on St. John’s Truck Beach and Coco Cay, a private island. But it was Penney who looked amazing. From eating lobster we caught on the beach to sipping specialty beverages while relaxing in the ocean, we had a great day. It’s ideal for the entire Fonua family. We took a fast boat ride from St Kitts’ reggae beach to Nevis’ Oualie beach. To go to Pinneys Beach near Charlestown, you can take an affordable cab journey. Was it true that I was in Hawaii? That’s how I felt as I walked along this lovely long stretch of beach with Mount Nevis on one side and the Caribbean Sea as a foreground to the beautiful long stretch of hills and mountains of St. Kitts, with Mount Nevis on one side and the foreground covered by all the coconut trees at Four Seasons. The water is incredibly clear, with shades of gemstone blue. Fortunately, the Four Seasons and its buildings did not steal from the natural beauty of the area. In fact, they worked nicely together and added to the stunning views of Nevis. Cabbies refer to this beach as “sunshine beach bar” or “lime beach bar.” We had a fantastic lunch at the Lime Beach Bar, and they even provided you with a free umbrella and beach chair. The beach does not have a bar, however, you can get a drink at any of these restaurants. The lime beach bar offers you a great deal on a bucket of beer to take with you. The water was incredible, and the view of St. Kitts was breathtaking. For a small fee, kids may ride jet skis on the beach. We instructed our cab driver to return in a few hours to pick us up. This beach is well worth spending 3/4 of an hour on.
