The Women’s Long Jump is getting better and Jamaica’s Ackelia Smith is adding fire to the event. This Long Jump event has been dominated by American athletes such as Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Brittney Reese, and Tiana Madison. But Ackelia Smith seems to be a changing of the guard in such a technical event. Ackelia Smith fouled her first two attempts which made her frustrated, but she had to remain calm.
